if anything it's underrated by critics. Thankfully gamers appreciate this game (as shown by the sales year after year).

Also there are sections in the games that force you to stay undetected. How is that not stealth ?

Sure, it has short bursts of stealth, but so does Uncharted 2 & 3, but they aren't stealth games.

I haven't played UC3, but UC2 doesn't force you at all to make a stealthy approach.

You can also play MGS4 guns blazing and you can still make it. So it's not a stealth game either ?

It's obvious you don't like Assassin's Creed. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. As for your review of AC2 a 4/10, that's just ridiculous.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Fair point about Uncharted 2

You can play the entirety of MGS4 via stealth. You cannot even play the majority of AC2 via stealth.

Not truly ridiculous when you think about it. 60% of the game consists of boring combat and freerunning. I only gave it a 4/10 because it had good graphics and the controls work.

The franchise is great for me, I am a huge fan. But I must admit that since AC2 is falling, mainly because of the yearly releases that Ubisoft requires.

I'm also a little dissapointed with AC3.

I have no interest in AC, though I like the concept and wanted to like the franchise. It's just that the movement and the combat did nothing for me. It's like they wanted to give the appearance of skill rather than requiring it.

I'm just sad that the only Vita bundles on sale are AC and CoD, neither of which I want. Otherwise, I would probably buy one.

Just get the bundle and sell the game? You can buy another game or two with the money if you want. Or just get the PS plus some of the best titles are there already.

I've only played the first so far, so I'm no expert. But even from that experience, I can say that it's not one of the worst IPs ever. But, again, take my opinion with a grain of salt.

1 was bearable.... all downhill from there.

One is the worst as it has the worst combat and the most redundant missions by far. Ass Creed is so much better than Halo for all out losing one's self in gaming fun.

I sorry but what has halo got to do with this?

A mate of mine hated AC1 and 2... he likes 3.  He usually plays COD or other shooters to death.

Oh I just felt like Halo has gone down hill too since Halo 2 until reach were it rose again and then dropped in quality with Halo 4 again. Halo 4 is redundandant. I just thought the level of quality of these series are very comparible.

Open world extacy of a series. It seems like you are getting good writing practice for college on here. I disagree 100%. Exploring the world is some of the funnest times.

So you didn't think the combat & freerunning were repetitive and extremely easy?

the combat is the worst part about the game, though I fell it is only about 20% of the game and the rest of the elements I find to to fun and engrossing.

I've only played 1 and 2. But it's a very good series. The combat is only "shallow, boring, and repetitive" if you have no imagination, I'm sorry to say. This applies to the platforming aspects as well. Imagination is what drives my enjoyment of just about any game, so AC is very enjoyable for me. It's one of the very few AAA games I respect.
