But Halo 4 sold more than Halo 3 first week... not over 4 million I guess but sold over... VGC shows that.

How can 3.81m less than 3.80m?

Halo 4 gives XB360 a mighty boost! The same week of last year's boost was larger, but if we consider that last year this week there were CoD, with a 7.5M launch, and Skyrim and other SW launches, Halo 4 alone sold a lot more HW in comparison.
Excellent 3DS, higher than last year.
Very good PS3, lower than last year, but with no major launches this week and nethertheless growing and outdistanced by XB360 less than last year.
Growing, but small the others, with Wii having sales not worthy of the dominator of this gen.
Vita grows a little but it's not out of troubles yet.

Waiting for WW SW, but it shouldn't tell us anything different from Halo domination this week.

3DS sales still are probably softer in North America than Nintendo would like I think.

I think they were expecting a bigger surge out of NSMB2 + XL models going into a month like November.

Europe is good, Japan is great.

how did xbox not beat sony in europe? if halo cant do it, i doubt anything else can.

I think Halo 4 outsold Halo 3... so over 3.81m... I'm not convinced that it sold over 4 million because I didn't expect it to sell less than Reach (and Halo 3) in UK.

3.9 million first week seems fine.

I'm a little surprised it sold less in UK... so VGC Europe will be flat or down (compared to Halo 3)... US puts it over Halo 3 for sure.

Again, they didn't say Halo 4 sold more than 3, did they?

 

Then did they say it sold less than 3?at least gamestop said 4 is biggest Halo launch

Just seen global SW numbers... Animal Crossing in Japan is the main reason for 3DS boost there and WW... Oh dear...

Edit:

 PS Just seen, one more week in America before Wii U launch, two more weeks in Europe, one month in Japan... Same season, but no simultaneous global launch, curious choice...
