Who wouldn't expect this? when nihilistic was announced as the developer this game had CRAP (you can say that here?) written all over it... i knew this was going to get atrocious reviews, just sayin' nihilistic also made resistance: burning skies.

I knew it was going to be crap because there was no way for Nihilistic to make two decent FPS games within the same year.

ó_Ò mmm... yeah... sure that's...

I'm just praying that it doesn't sell more than Resident Evil: Revelations. My faith in humanity isn't very strong to begin with and this could deliver the knockout punch.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

It apparently only had a 5 month development cycle. Does Sony not have any quality control for the Vita? Seriously.

"After downloading a near 400 MB patch on the second day, "
Wow. 400MB patch for a Vita game, at launch? That's unacceptable. Did they ship the game half-done then patch the rest in or what?

That's actually very annoying imo. If they knew the game was so bad why even release it? This game was obviously rushed and the devs probably thought "People are going to buy it just because it's CoD". Hopefully people are smart enough to not by this game just because of it's popular name.

Because some people will still buy it unfortunately.

Just by being on a handheld with so little install base will hurt the sales. Gamers who paid attention to internet reviews won't buy the game (hopefully) and the normal consumer who owns a Vita (which is probably a really few percentage) will simple not care since they can buy the console version for just $10 more.

Nope, being made by Nihilistic itself already will/did hurt the sales, its hurting the reviews and the reviewers (IGN l0l).

Lol that's also true.

Worth noting that people who have bought this game, say its the best mobile FPS they've played.
I think this game will be a great way to build a fanbase for the franchise on the Vita. Hopefully it sells enough to make Activision do a proper one for next year.

Then brace yourself, because there's a decent chance that it might, simply by virtue of having "Call of Duty" on the cover.

What are they comparing it to?

What people?

Reminds me of the days when Sonic & the Black Knight released...

Those were dark times.
