This week, we have the budget release of Monster Hunter 3G, which should boost that game's sales despite its terrible boxart, and a NSMB2 bundle. Nothing new, but sales shouldn't collapse.

Next week is a couple of games, including Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, which has a good chance of breaking a million in Japan alone, and smaller games like EX Troopers and a Tamogatchi game.

The week ending in December 1 has Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney.

The week ending December 8 has Paper Mario and a Dragon Quest Rocket Slime 3 budget release.

The week ending December 15 has the latest Inazuma Eleven game.

The week of Christmas has Fantasy Life, the latest Level 5 collaboration with Nintendo.

In short, we have something like one killer app, six major titles, and a couple of budget releases for the rest of the year, plus shovelware and any weird Japanese game that I'm overlooking.

Given all the reviews for COD Black Ops: Declassified, I don't know why anyone would bring that game up at all.

The closest it's been to that achievement was outselling the OG 3DS on Miku week, but 3DS came out on top when adding in XL sales. Otherwise, no.

In Japan? There are two Inazuma Eleven games and EX Troopers coming out this month, and Paper Mario early next month. I'd call them merely "decent" games, though.

Dragon Quest VII in February, on the other hand...

Nintendo has crazy momentum throughout the first half of next year in Japan... Wish it was the same here in the West. Japan is totally under lock though.

Refresh my memory: the first half of 2013 in the West is going to see Castlevania, Fire Emblem, Etrian Oddysey, Rune Factory, Monster Hunter 3G, Luigi's Mansion,Brain Age and Animal Crossing, correct?

Yeah, I doubt the 3DS is going to hit the stratosphere with these, especially since only Animal Crossing is going to sell millions. But it's got several games that appeal to me, at least. (As an added bonus, I get to lord EO IV over Rol).

Let's say... Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing have a good shot on making good sales. Sales-wise, it's not going to hit the stratosphere, to paraphrase what you just mentioned.

Let's recall too those aren't what Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter 4 are to Japan. Over there, it's gonna make 1-million FW for sure. Unlike Luigi's Mansion or Animal Crossing in USA.

Not that much. I was speaking more like saleswise, momentum of releases is still good for Q1-Q2 2013 on 3DS.
