Only thing I am interested in is it holds 25 GB of data which is great news.

Up to 50 GB's if its dual layered.

Of course.....that is what dual layer usually means, double the amount of data as the original o.O.

Sorry it was just such a unused feature for Wii discs I thought some ppl wouldn't think the Wii U would.

So... they round off the edges on their discs, and they are automatically amazing? I don't understand what the big deal is.

Exactly... why are people getting boners over it?

Do you really think the OP (or any other poster for that matter) is serious about this?

Well, dont get me wrong, this is lovely and all. I just hope they put as much effort into the actual software on the discs

They'd better watch out apple not sue them, what with all those rounded edges.

I knew someone would mention that :p

Same here lol

EDIT: Gahh quoted wrong person :/

Finally. Those pesky disks will stop cutting up my hands.

Maybe it was in response to the PSP "flying disc" trick, where you can get the disc to eject from the system.

But does anyone have any info on Nintendo's disc format? Is it HD-DVD reanimated?

A big media outlet like that and they take horrible photographs.

You can't see the rounded edges in any of those photos.

Glad to hear this but that's some pathetic photography from a major media outlet.

I circled the area of the photo showing the edge. Hope this helps!

Right, now check the other photos that compare it against an X360 and PS3 disc.   If no one told you, you'd have no idea the Wii U disc were rounded on the edge.

You are right.

It's Bluray. Panasonic Bluray.

On-topic: It's a nice small detail. I would notice right away if I had a disc in my hands.
