Hard to say. I think there's a pretty large overlap between each user base, actually...

Well I play a crap ton of smash bros with my friends to this day. I'm really really good at smash bros, been playing at least once a week since launch. I love it to death. I win tournaments and stuff. I have a vita and I kill at PSASBR beta, not saying I'm the best at anything, but a good amount of skill can be pooled up playing smash bros.

That being said: Microsoft fans kill at shooters, their diet consists of COD, Halo, and Gears, they are regular virtuosos.

Sony fans are usually quite good at racers. Like really good.

So, you are saying Microsoft has the most skilled gamers just because two guys are gonna have 1,000,000 achievement points???

Since when two guy with lots of achievemnt points means they are the most skilled and its console of preference the one with more skilled gamers??? I don't get it.

I say on average, the most skilled players do not discriminate against one system.

Definitely the group of demographics that spent more time playing, I'd say PC. Those Starcraft tournaments :S

well i don't think the brand you choose defines your skill, the 3 platforms have all types of genres so theyre user base can be good at any game, but i have to say that longtime nintendo gamers tend to have more skill because of the many years playing and the fact that games used to be harder and required more skill.
For example a kid nowadays can beat me in a recent game that i haven´t played an he plays a lot, but give me a couple of days (or even hours) to understand the mechanics and i totally kick ass!! i say it because I've done it many times
