there isn't an R4 type card out for the 3ds yet, well.... you can use an R4 card with older firmwares of the 3Ds to play original DS games, but you cannot pirate 3DS games on such a device just yet, massive layers of antipiracy protecting the 3DS from running anything it isn't 100% sure is legit.

Great thread OP tho, even for people with a 3ds atm some nice eye openers as to prices from amazon. See nintendo also started a deal of the week type thing on the eshop in europe some great games go for half standard price each week.

Mario 3d land is a must if you like mario any bit at all.

Sonic Generations on the 3ds is actually a great game and definately the best version of it that I played (robbed 50 hours of my life)

Resident Evil Revalations is great and one of the most graphically impressive games you'll play + the only real classic resi evil 4 feeling resi evil game that exists now (only issue here is 3dsxl has no circle pad pro atm so you'd have odd controls to deal with)

Amazon best place to look for the games?

I genuinely can't give advice for online stores, Amazon pretty much doubles the price of any game being sent to me here in Ireland unless the cost is over 20euros worth which means most of the time I just go to a local game stop to get games unless they're new releases, saying that I picked up Sonic Generations in Argos think it was just under 20euros, Mario 3d land.... great game but I think the price of Mario games don't normally go down for months and years after they've came out so you'd be pressed to find a good deal on it really, but it is such a great Mario game.

Breaking News: This Black Friday, Nintendo will bundle a standard Flame Red 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land for just $169.99! That's like getting SM3DL for free! If you are considering getting a non-XL 3DS, this is a great deal.
