#28. Mega Man 2 (NES, VC)

My first Mega Man game and lucky me it was the best Mega Man ever made! I played and finished this game countless times in both the normal and hard modes. Most of the time I would start by killing Metal Man so I could get the best weapon ever: the Metal Blade. While other weapons had to be used very sparingly (crash bombs I'm looking at you) the metal blade's meter would go down very slowly and you could shoot it in all directions.

Also worth mentionning is the game's memorable music like the intro song, the bouncy tune from Crash Man's stage  or the famous music from Dr. Willy's Castle music.

#27 Hint: Back when this game came out, its subtitle wasn't associated with sparkly vampires.

Are my clues getting too difficult? No one took a shot at #28 (and the two before it), but here it is :

#28 - Asterix is also a game not many would expect on a top games list. It has been however, great fun to play. It is one of my most played Playstation games, save for two PS1 games that are still to come. The game is in fact, a strategic game. In the vain of the RISK boardgame or the much newer Total War franchise by SEGA, the player is in command of a host of provinces which he must defend and train armies on to conquer other provinces. It is however a highly simplified form of this concept, and no form of economy, the upgrading of provinces or building and training within provinces is present in this game whatsoever. The player is granted a few new units each turn, which must be strategically placed amongst the owned areas of the board, which represents Asterix's homeland; France. Besides the strategic elements, the game contains a few mini-games which are quite fun to play, varying from small platformed like levels or beat 'em up like levels. These levels are played as an Asterix character and are accessed by conquering specific provinces on the board.

#27 - ?
A clone of a famous and extremely basic game made by Nintendo for the Gameboy platform.

Breakout? (or whatever the GB clone was)

alleyway

Nope. :3

27. The Walking Dead Game (PC, also on PSN, Xbox Live Arcade & iOS)

OK, so I cheated bit as the full season wasn't complete when I compiled my list but based on the first 4 episodes alone, this did enough to warrant being on my list. It's been a long while since I've played a point n' click adventure game that's resonated with me. The fact that they could pace the gameplay & story over 5 separate episodes meant every one was its own mini story with cast members frequently changing from episode to episode to keep things fresh. Unlike most point n' click adventures, it focused mainly on story with only light puzzles which is probably why I enjoyed it so much, lol!

Correct. The clue for this game seemed to have been a lot easier than a couple of previous ones.

Mr. Khan was correct in assuming the game was a clone of Breakout. ganoncrotch was correct in the name; Alleyway.

Super Mario Galaxy 2. Gamerankings recently had it surpass Ocarina of Time.
