Erm...both Halo 3 and Reach were released in September, so ofcourse Halo 4 is gonna follow different, more impressive, sales trends.



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

You know that Christmas thing that happens every year......

Just with call of duty, and the lower opening, it just make's it hard to follow/believe

Anyways how much did reach sell by the end of 2010?

Halo: Reach sold 7,100,482 in 2010 (16 weeks of sales). It's amazing to think that Halo 4 will sell a good bit more than it (7.4m) in nearly half the time (9 weeks)

You could come really close if these weeks keep over selling your projected numbers.

More importantly, sales are up 7%.

If it experiences a similar % increase worldwide it should sell over 560k.

Wow, AMAZING sales! I suppose its doing better compared to previous Halo's because it released close to Christmas and it had a temporary price drop.

So looks like 7m+ is pretty much guaranteed by year end. Very impressive numbers. Just played and finished the game myself and thought it was pretty great. Well deserved, I'd say.
