Its pretty ironic a bunch of known Sony fans were in here downplaying Halo and now 4 is the fastest selling in the franchise

It's sold 6,443,550 copies after 6 weeks on sale.

It outperformed my prediction for this week by a whopping 128k!

It's outsold my predicted sales every week except week 1.

It took Halo 3 13 weeks to sell as much as Halo 4 has in 6. It took Halo: Reach 14 weeks to sell what Halo 4 has in 6.



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

In Europe at least the price has crashed, £20-25 which for US would be like $30-37.  I imagine a lot of people buying it even if not got time to play it.

...and just to be clear, lots of games price crash like this in UK especially in run up the christmas.  Not trying to sell the game short or anything.

Lol, I remmember VGking's thread talking about a price cut on Forza Horizon. Then assuming that it wasn't selling well because of that price cut. It turns out to be a Black Friday price cut lol.

£20-£25? Where? I've been to nearly every shop in the UK in the past week and the cheapest I've seen it for is £30.

Game has to be overtracked, the first week numbers were lower then reach, no way it's tracking ahead of every halo game now, it just doesn't make any sence :S
