Sequel will come, 100% certain.
Why make a sequel when the first one sold poorly? If they did though it would come to the Wii.

Nintendo still doomed?

Dead Rising 2 would be sweet. But, I'm guessing, they have one of their top tier development teams working on Dead Rising, so it would take a lot more time and man power ($$$) than to make another Zack and Wik.
I'm sure we should see more of both in the future.

Sold poorly is a relative measure. It's should sell over 100k if it hasn't already, which is enough to make it profitable. This is a very low budget game for Capcom, and it has found a fiercely loyal audience. That gives Capcom something to work with in turning Z&W into a bankable franchise.

Zack and Wiki sequel is not coming. Just look at Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) GBA and DS sales. When did a Capcom game that sold under 500k had a sequel? It does not matter if the costs are low or that the game is cheaper. Devil Kings for PS2 proves that under performing Capcom games do not get sequels. Okami is another example, we will never see Okami again.
There is no way to twist things. Zack and Wiki did in 12 weeks on a 13.7 m user base (US+JP) almost the same Okami did lifetime (26 weeks) in Japan (25 million userbase). Zack & Wiki is much more complex and expensive than Okami. Let`s not even talk about the broader appeal ZW has, Okami is a niche title. Wii fanboys are so delusional sometimes.

The lack of retail support for this title is kind of disgusting. A customer shouldn't have to put up with that BS just to buy a game. The behavior of European retailers sounds even worse than NA retailers.
Sure, it's a niche title, but I would expect stores dedicated to gaming would stock it anyway. And I'd also expect the staff of stores that do have it to not give funny looks to people who want to spend money at their store.
