I love Halo but no it won't.  It will continue to be an amazing game and probably sell between 7-14 million copies with each mainline halo but nothing will ever be as big as mario.  This whole argument has became ridiculous.  For the record for everybody argueing it has been obvious that it has been fans of a company more than anything.  The whole Gears vs god of War thing has been idiotic.  if you're going to compare the two stick with the main trilogy instead of 6 games vs 3.  I don't give two shits if you cal Gears GoW or God of War GoW.  it doesn't matter so get the hell over it.  Most pointless argument I've seen by far.  this thread should be locked and I'm shocked that the moderators hasn't done a thing yet. 

I don't understand you bro. I stated the facts...and you simply don't want to agree. God of War has sold better, including the collections and the games, the series has sold over 21 million units as stated by Sony.

I have the feeling man-bear-pig is just taking the piss.

Well not including the collections, as they arent anything new, make Gears sell more.

I now invoke section 3, dash 4, paragraph 2, of the Gaming Fan Bible, outlined by PS2 fan forefathers of yesterday and I quote:

I decree that HD re-releases don't count, only individual games themselves, which I think is fair.

Okay. I think by 1st November 2022 Halo will have outsold Mario, and you think it wont. The winner gets 1 week of sig control .

I think his point is God of War 1-3 vs Gears of War 1-3.  Gears outsells God War by a big margin game by game.  I believe he stated this like 20 times yet you dont seem to get that.  

 Are you just trolling?  You realize that it would have to sell over 500 million copies of Halo in 10 years right?

I'm being serious. The 720 is gonna sell 250m units in the next 10 years and there will be yearly Halo release which will sell in the region of 55-60 per year. I think the Wii U will be discontinued in 2013 due to low sales and the PS4 will be cancelled, so the 720 will have the entire market. Mark my words.
