I probably won't buy any Wii U games from the eshop but I will buy the other Ware, VC, etc titles.  I've gotten at least 5-6 free games from Club Nintendo since they started allowing you trade in coins for games. 

It's good to see this spelled out by Nintendo. I think it's a great rewards program to lure in potential buyers and then keep them around.

I probably won't be buying any $59.99 titles, but I'll definitely earn some points buying Virtual Console games and smaller downloadable games like Toki Tori 2 and Trine 2.

Glad I pre-ordered the Deluxe set Wii U.

As enticing as it may be, I'm going to buy only physical copies of retail games. So for me it'll only affect the VC and Eshop games I plan to buy. Which should add up rather quickly.

How will this program work for gamers who buy this Wii U Deluxe Edition post-launch?

If I buy the Deluxe Edition in Dec of 2013, will I still only earn points through Dec 2014, or will it be extended? I have a feeling it won't extend, but then it kinda makes new purchasers ripped off in a sense (assuming they weren't going to buy the launch titles).

This rewards program will be too enticing not to buy some digital copies of games at retail. For multiplayer games like Mario Kart and (if it were coming in time, sadly it won't) Super Smash that I would always want on the system, I'll probably go ahead and download those for the free points.

I will buy digital more than likely. More centered on more VC stuff, (need to increase my N64 and GC collection), but I will likely by new titles too.

Good thing you mostly want Wii U VC games, you won't be getting any from VC content purchased at the Wii Shop Channel.
