they just don't care... there not obligated to make it just because there are 33000 signature (many are fakes)

They would have to completely remake the game. Maybe a spinoff or a different title would be possible...but the same game? Not going to happen.

According to GoNintendo.com Capcom has said they're excited to see such intrested in the game from the Wii audience.

hmm, here's what you should try.

1... buy RE5 for 360/PS3
2... stick it INTO your Wii
3... start a petition that request Wii to be able to support the capable graphical power.


Geez, it's like complaining your 5 year old computer won't run Crysis and cry about it.

These online petitions are a joke. Buy it on a system it's on or stop crying about it. They might as well start making the 80 other petitions for every big 3rd party game that isn't coming on the Wii. I already saw a bionic commando one yesterday, it's pathetic. If they put any of these games on the Wii, it won't be because of stupid petitions, it will be because of sales figures.

Capcom are making RE5 just for the wii, they may port it to the 360 and they most likely wont bother with the ps3 version.

Think about it, we have not heard shit about it in a while, not since the africa clips. They were just cutscene's, which could be fmv for the wii. Maybe the silence means they have scrapped previous build and switch to the wii.

Capcom has the balls to do this, they did the exact same thing with MH3. They also almost completed RE4 and then scraped it and made a different RE4 and they weren't even changing platforms, just wanted to go a different direction.

Nintendo is where the RE fans are these days, RE4, REmake, RE0 on gamecube, then RE4 and RE UC on the wii have extremely well.

Graphics arent everything. It would play better on wii due to the controls.

I don't understand why Wii fans are doing this. It seems somewhat selfish to me that owners of the fastest selling console that will most likely receive the most exclusives in the end are begging for ps3/360 games like RE5, Bionic Commando, etc.

Embrace the games you have instead of obseessing over the ones you don't.  Either that or buy a new console...

I think that there will surely have a Resident evil for Wii I'm not worried but I think they might wait for e3 to announce it.
