I come here from time to time I ask for advice.

I am considering this bundle. Now here are my questions:

1) Has anyone here got this? If so, how do you like it so far?

2) Wouldn't it better to get the 160Gb cheaper model? (And get U3 GOTY separatedly)

3) Is the Dust 514 really a full game with the $30 aditional bucks of content? Or is it some trick to make you spend more money online later?

4) Is Playstation plus really worth it? Why? Free games maybe?

5) I have an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. And now I am interested in the online experience that the ps3 offers. Can you tell me why I am making right decision?

Tell me why I should stick to the idea of getting a PS3 and its online free-to-play network.

I thought Dust 514 was a free to play game with micro-transactions.

Playstation Plus is only worth it if you are interested in getting random PSN games that you can only play while you pay for the subscription. If you stop paying then you lose access to the "free" games.

If I were you I'd get a cheaper model since the size of the hard drive isn't that big of a deal. You can always upgrade it later if you fill it up.

As an owner of the ps3slim I can only really comment on that hardware and I have to say it is a damn nice design and so much quieter than a 360 you will literally shit your pants when it is on and gaming at how quiet the slim is. As for this Super slim model I've heard a few bits and pieces about it being a bit louder than the first slim and also from watching unboxing vids of it on youtube that top loading drive looks like utter tat compared to their last model.

But yeah buy a ps3 but.... my money would be on the Ps3slim not that one you linked. It's just a nicer piece of kit.

well i think, and this is just my opinion: it is too late to buy a ps3 is life cicle is near the end and is an obvius factor that for multiplatform games an xbox 360 is a better option; but again is just my opinion.

I just need to finish Uncharted 3 first.

With it (250GB model) you get two controllers, Uncharted 3, BF3 with multiple DLC, LBP(digital), LBP2, Assassin's Creed(digital), Flow(digital), dead something or other (a digital zombie game, very fun), about 20 movies, and finally the username and pw of my PSN account (this way you keep all digital content and multiplayer stuff. (it has never had a credit card attached and I'll remove all my "friends")

So, you can buy a new 250GB PS3 with one controller and Uncharted 3.... or get all that I listed above in "like new" condition for the same $250 (no taxes and $15 shipping via US Priority Mail with tracking).

Basically that's a crappy version of what my Ebay listing soon. Do you think its a fair deal and will sell?

Last year Black Friday's bundle was extremely good, maybe you should wait and see if they come up with something similar.

Feel a little late for a PS3, especialy for 270$, better off buying a Wii U instead imo.

But the bundle still is nice. But if you buy a ps3 not bundled with UC3, dont bother buying it sepperatly, buy UC2 instead. UC3 felt like a B movie, by far the worst of the 3 uncharted games, if anyone tells you otherwise they are morons who let themselves getting impressed by pretty graphics.

or... you know people with different opinions? But I would actually say there is some merit to this post in that if you are completely new to the Playstation 3 you would do yourself a favour and just get uncharted 1 with a ps3slim model, it's better to start from the start of that series and the first game will only set you back about 10euros now if you pick it up used.
