Umm yeah not for all multiplatform games a lot of them look better on ps3 and that is why this multiplatform crap is completely irrelevant lol

Ps3 also has some of the best exclusives this gen. Every gamer should play them. 

1. i still have the first phat launch model. purrs quieter than a kitten.

2. You can always upgrade the HDD anytime you want.

4. Lots of benefits with plus, like first dibs at betas, discounts, and free games as long as you stay subscribed.

5. I think this is the perfect time to own a PS3. The games from this year is hot, and next year is going to be stellar.

All I'm going to say is if you do pick up a PS3, make sure to check out all the games and let that factor into your final judgement. Iconic games like MGS4, GoW, GT5, Uncharted, Valkyria Chronicles, and the Yakuza series should be considered. For PSN, online games like Dust 514 takes a bold new approach. It is a free to play persistent MMOFPS linked with the EVE Online servers.

Also stick to the 250GB model and although I'm not subscribed to Playstation Plus because I game more on the Xbox 360 it does seems like a great service based on what I've heard and all the discounts and free games you'll get so I recommend that too.

If you're getting a PS3 it should be primarily to play the exclusives since the Xbox 360 almost always has the superior multi-platform version (not including PC) and I think the Xbox 360 controller is more comfortable which is why I'd rather play on it most of the time. If you can't think of at least 15 exclusive games you want to play then I wouldn't bother with the PS3, I myself only bought a PS3 for God of War III and it was worth it for me but that's probably because I'm a crazed fan, I'd advise anyone else to make sure they're interested in enough exclusive games to justify a purchase especially if you already have a Xbox 360.

Yes without a doubt go for this. I would say go for the Uncharted GOTY Bundle as it might now have a Lower MSRP of $250, you'll need the hard drive space for God of war collection 2 as it is around 18GB of Downloads and for Plus :).

Yeah it changed a lot in the past 2 years.
PS3 is now winning probably 7 out of 10 Head 2 Heads.
Developers are far more comfortable now with the console and here comes the most important part > Use the PS3 as Lead Platform cause its easier to port from the PS3 to the 360 than the other way around.The PS3 version would run like crap(like a lot of early multiplat games did in the beginning of this Gen) if they port it to the PS3 but the other way around the quality loss is pretty small.
And of course the most beautiful Multiplat Game for now > Battlefield 3 <(as if someone would get this on console anyway) is running a lot better on the PS3 cause DICE liked that console more =)

What kind of games? The uncharted trilogy looks like my kind of game. Sony exclusives are looking fine. And I am really considering the Ps+. So maybe I should get the U1&2 package first and later get the 3rd.

I am really into RPG's and I am planning to game online with PS3. so...
Can you recommend me good exclusive rpg's?
And what games (they can be multiplat) are really good (addictive) to play online?

Uncharted 3 is an amazing game so i would defo say get this bundle! Ps+ is fantastic and just keeps giving you free full retail games when your not expecting it. Dust also seems cool!

1.) I'd just get the cheapest possible model then upgrade the HDD or take on Eric Cartman's deal

2.) Prolly, you can usually find games cheap online with no tax and free shipping

3.) It's just micro transaction currency, don't need it to play the game or anything

4.) Not if you have a 360 and Wii and possibly Wii U in the future, you'd have too many games to play and not take full advantage of it and even more money going out if you pay for XBL.

5.) PSN online to play is free, you don't have to worry about that department so much, you are making the right decision based on the good exclusives on the system and it's a better multimedia playback device, unless you plan to get a Wii U, then the Wii U would be a better streaming device while the PS3 would make for a Blu-ray playback device with 3D playback capabilities, just can't do PCM while doing 3D due to bandwidth restrictions of HDMI 1.3.
