I think it's obvious that this young lady made some mistakes; possibly all stemming from the initial blackmail, possibly not, I did not know her personally.
Regardless, none of those mistakes should have led to her suicide. There seems to be a a litany of failures here whose unfortunate conclusion was the suicide of this young girl.
Whether it was her own inability to handle these things, the lack of a peer support group or the inability of her family to help her get through these things...just a sad, sad story.

Deserved harassment? Seriously?
yes seriously. she was stupid. deserved to be told so. People need to quit babying everyone worring what would offend people.
Oustside of small, bigot towns and villages, nobody would have harassed or blackmailed her just for having flashed her boobs, neither sleeping with many men would have been such a horrible guilt. The only remaining problem could have been having slept with another girl's bf, but I'm sure she could have been able to cope with the hate of just one person, or at most also of the closest friends of the cheated girl (that anyway should have been a lot more angry with the cheater).
So I guess she moved multiple times and by the luck of the draw got a bigot town each time... The fact is people get bullied for such things and less everywhere. Didn't matter where she moved she would have been bullied for doing these things anywhere. However, saying "ahhh now there, there... everything is fine. These kids are the problem not you. You're perfect" is the wrong attitutde to go about this. The right one would be "Ya'll fucked up on this one. You are going to recieve a backlash for these things. You're going to have to relize your mistake and learn from them and live with the consequences. Bite the bullet (Not literally) take whats given to you and keep on keeping on."
