I am not sure why anyone would want less of anything. That only accomplishes less choice. There is no logic behind it.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I would like to see Nintendo distribute its major franchises evenly across several years. As much as I love Zelda, I think a 3-4 year hiatus between console games is just fine. The heavy development going into those games almost demands that time frame anyway. I just don't want to get oversaturated with a single franchise, especially Zelda. Waiting those many months for a new Zelda game is like a rite of passage :)
Nintendo probably needs to slow down with Mario games -- and I think it will after November.
I would like to see another Metroid, either on Wii U or 3DS. It's hard to imagine we once went 8 years without a Metroid game.
My fav franchise, Zelda, is just fine the way it is.
More Star Fox, Less Pokemon.
Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD
Same amount of Zeldas, Metroids.
More new IPs.
Less New Super Mario Bros.

I don't want less of anyhting. If I don't want something, I just don't buy it.
That said, more Star Fox. Definitely. More new IPs would be appreciated, but I think they have enough lingering around somewhere in the depts of their archives to just dig some old one up.
My heart wants more Zelda too, because that's my favorite franchise. Realistically though it would be enough to have them every three to four years, because they must all be brilliant. That's the drawback for creating such high-profile series, there is no excuse for a bad game. I just hope the wait 'til the next one gets to be a little less than the wait for Skyward Sword was; 5 years, damn.

Yes, I say yes :p Considering how much love (and genres) Mario gets, Zelda seems like something Nintendo should work more on - I can very much see current Zelda experience co-existing with classic Zelda (maybe modernized a bit) for example. Or what "Lara Croft and Guardian of Light" is to Tomb Raider for instance. Or something similar. Not Zelda Tennis off course ;) |
You sure about those Zelda spin-offs?

Less Zelda, Mario and anything with "Wii" in the title (or "U" for that matter), and more of everything else.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Limited resources wasted on a game I don't want while they could be used to make a game I do want.
But yeah, I get what you meant.
