Just so we're clear (I couldn't tell from your post :o), I was talking about the PS3 store. It was a mess, at least I thought the old one was.

There's loads of stuff that needs changing, idk if this new layout will fix any of. But just simple stuff like: It's too hard to scroll through your download list to find something you want; the search function is often poor; many games don't have proper descriptions or compatibilty listed, stuff like that. I would hope that the new PS3 store fixes some of that, regardless of whether it looks like the 360 store (is what I was meaning).

I don't dislike the PS Store. My only complaint is that the design doesn't house the amount of content is has now. Finding things are super easy, but it can take a long time.

I really like the futuristic look and I'm one that believed the old store layout was getting stale.

On the PlayStation Blog they announced in the comments that the new store is built in HTML 5 and that will allow the PS Store will now be much more versatile to new features (like adding sorting/search features to the Download List).

one of the PR guys at the blog said that is not from NA and is from another region...but someone did a price comparison and said this isn't EU store either..

so it's either
1. AU store or some other store

or

2. Denial
