I've been alive for at least a day now. ;)
All but one of the appliances in my entertainment are black so obviously I want a black Wii U.
If the basic Wii U came in that color I would buy that as I am not interested in Nintendo Land and the hard drive I can expand later.
If Nintendo TVii is as advertised, I'm sure plenty of people will get the device just for the novelty of being able to pull from it the ability to have "futuristic" TV experience.
i'd want the black one, but ninty has 5 yr's to show me why i should buy a WiiU.
You'll probably have a few people over there that will buy two Monster Hunter bundles, one to play and one to keep unopened and in mint condition. It's happened before as far as I remember.
As interesting as it is, mail in surveys stink of bias. I am pretty sure a mail in survey is last on the list of meaningful statistical data. Lol, at least we can count on 960 or so sales for the wii U in japan.
95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

Wii U has got Japan on lock and due to Dragon quest and Monster Hunter its an easy win. If they get Final Fantasy its game over for Sony in Japan.

FF may be a tougher gain, although it is very likely that they will get it, what with Nintendo and S-E being on better terms, and the latter no longer having an excuse NOT to put FF on WiiU. I definitely smell FF for WiiU.

Time will tell.

Absolutely, but even so, I still see it happening.
