Forums - Nintendo - In Japan, It’s Not “If” You Will Get a Wii U, But “Which”

Even without a Final Fantasy title for the U Nintendo have pretty much got that territory sewn up, unless the PS4 has a Monster Hunter or Dragon Quest title of its own. You've also got to take into account which big first party guns Nintendo are going to release when the PS4 launches - a 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Retro's new game and Monolith Soft's new game could all be on the cards, although I'm expecting two out of the four titles myself. Then in 2014 they'll release the latest Smash Bros. game.

If Sony (and Microsoft in other territories) don't price their next gen console at a reasonable pricepoint they could really start to struggle to shift systems. And it's quite likely that Nintendo will have shifted anywhere between 10 and 15m units before the PS4 and 720 hit shop shelves, meaning that the U won't have any problems with third party support.

Exactly, which means we'll still get a FF and, if Konami jumps on board, MGS and CV.
