Capcom is upgrading Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U. The console version will be in full HD with 1080p resolution graphics, reports Famitsu. The game’s audio has also been enhanced to linear PCM 5.1 surround sound.

The Wii U gamepad has a screen similar to the Nintendo 3DS version with panels you can touch.

As reported earlier, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U has online multiplayer and supports local play with up to three Nintendo 3DS handhelds. You can also share save data with the 3DS version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the Wii U release through an app that will be released for free.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a Wii U launch title in Japan and slated for March 2013 in the West.

in anycase this is no big deal if you have a modern amp that accept HDMI input then you can output however you want from there lol.

THis is up there with the WiiU is a deal breaker for me cause it is region locked lol.

Game still looks awesome and I'm sure I'll be picking it up eventually.
