warming: when clicking through to link don't read user comments.

Already people complaining about it being Linear PCM audio lol.

Lol people.....    What do they want  OPEN WORLD audio? Is Linear not good enoigh now LOL---

I wish the game would drop the 9999 small areas that force you to load the new area when you move more than 10 steps into any direction...

well they want a optical output on the WiiU so they can connect their headphones to it apprently. I don't think I have ever seen headphones with an optical output. However I could be wrong they may exist.

In anycase, if you are going to be that hardcore, why not connect all you rHDMI devices to a HDMI amplifier and then output however you want from there to your tv, speakers/headphones and asshole if requiring additonal soundwave therapy in there.

I don't.

I liked that it didn't have the "walk for 10 minutes through a boring field to get anywhere" problem.

? I never said I want a boring field  I just want them to drop this stupid load shit.  I mean the areas are  totally small  why cant the world be connected? I dont mind that every area has a number and that all the areas are somewhat small I dont like that entering 1 area forces you to load.....     Just let me walk the 10 seconds from are 1 to area 2  instead of giving me a 8 sedonc loading screen.

At least connect   I dunno  area 1 with 2 3 and 4 and then let me load when going to area 5    or when going from 3 to 8 whin a "secret" underwater tunnel or whatever.

I like everything about this game except for the lock-on function. It could potentially ruin the entire franchise. I'll wait and see.

I'd like the load times to be eliminated/reduced, but I still like that the zones aren't continuous; it allows for changes in scenery and gives you a nice lull to sharpen weapons/take potions/etc when you or the monster leave a zone.

It's not a lock-on like zelda, all it does is moves the camera in the direction the monster is in. If the monster moves out of that direction the camera won't follow it automatically.

Ah, that's a huge relief and it could actually be a nice feature.

Is there any possibility of a local two-player mode on Wii U?
One player on the tablet and another with a wiimote/nunchuck or pro-controller on the TV?

That would be a major selling point for me, and it definitely looks like the Wii U would have no trouble running two games at once. Tri had splitscreen arena battles, but if Ultimate could have co-op hunting that would be glorious!!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

No, there isn't this possibility. I agree, it could be great. And Wii U is indeed capable, since it's doing that with COD.

There's local play on Wii U, but with one (up to three) 3DSs. For me at least that works, since I'm planning on buying both versions.

that's a shame...

I hope they didn't do this purely to encourage sales of the 3DS game...
