For a game as popular as Resident Evil what do you guys consider to be POOR sales for this game. 100k? 400k worldwide?

Reviews do have an impact on games but RE6 has been hyped so much I think it won't affect sells terribly. I think Mercenaries mode will save it, A lot of people like RE4 and RE5 Mercenaries. Not to mention the re-playability due to agent hunt mode, which will allow you to fight other people which will help to replay it because it will be different every time. So I think it will be fine in terms of sales just because of those two. Not to mention the story seems interesting, multiple types of zombies and Jake has a potential cure? I think Resident Evil fans would like to know how the series ends and will buy it.

I gotta agree with you on this part. The game hasn't even been released to the market yet I've already seen 4 threads on the internet about how terrible this game is.

I 3rd this, I've played terrible demo's (Valkyria Chronicles, and others comes to mind) but the game ended up being awesome. A lot of times if a niche game that's reviewed postive everyone flocks and are like ZOMGZ it's amazing completely ignoring flaws that are there, or ZOMGZ it's sucks like sheep.

Now I'm not saying anything about 6 good or bad. the only one I've really liked was revelations, and I thought the rest were pretty good atleast for their time.

But I've always liked Silent Hill/Dead Space/Fatal Frame more.

OT: The 69 I think could have an influence on sales, if that number improves to 75, I'm not so sure. Resident Evil 5 had lower scores than many games, but sold a hell of a ton.
