Yes to be hardcore one has to collect coins and not trophies. So right. Case Closed and buried.

It used to be a survival horror series. It's not anymore. Critiquing a game, movie, CD or whatever for what it is not is never fair.

I do find it very strange though, that Capcom can find room for light gun games and squad based shooters within the franchise - but not survival horror games.

You think PC elitists see me as a casual? No. You don't understand how much time I spend in hunting trophies. I have huge respect for gamers with lots of trophies, especially Platinums. I have 4 Platinums myself, which I'm very proud of.

If someone makes a movie on the diary of anne frank and I go to see it and it turns out to be like 50 shades of grey you better fucking believe I can complain about that movie.

Don't take anything he says seriously. You've been on the site as long as him to know that. His avatar makes that clear for new comers too. 

You don't need to not play all the RE games to not understand the story. That story is a terrible mess. Play the previous games if you want, but it won't help you, you will remain clueless of what's happening either way.
