After the demo I played yesterday... definitely skipping. Too many other games this fall that are worth paying full price for.

I will be buying RE6, not on launch date but soon after. I played the demo and I enjoyed it so far, although I am a little torn that Chris's campaign is so heavy on action, but it isn't that big a deal. I found Leon's campaign a step up as far as the tension and nice, "scary" atmosphere. I wasn't shitting my pants but I was going through that part of the demo very carefully and turning corners and checking room with the utmost of care , unlike the run-and-gun tactic with Chris.
I plan to buy PSASBR as soon as it is out, The Last of Us, and the RE6 late december or very early january.
EDIT: Thinking on it and checking dates, I'll probably buy RE6 late October and PSASBR late December, as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is all the fighting I need for the next few months.
The demo was a huge disappointment, unless the reviews are great I'll be buying it used months after release.

I've lost all interest in the series. I really hate to be one of _those_ people, but I want an actual survival horror game, not an action game with fake scares.
The moment they made my character a rambo badass, it ceased to be survival horror. When my character can kung-fu a zombie into oblivion, it's not scary.
I was borderline about to skip it after the demo... But since Resident Evil 5 was one of my favorite co-op experiences ever and me and a friend were looking forward to it all year- i'm going to have to keep my pre-order and see what a train wreck the rest of the game is. Hopefully the co-op will make it decent.
At first ! was running to the fence but then..

so I'm buying it... I'm not expecting the best game ever but still a game that will keep me entertainted for a few hours.. beats talking to the gf..

i don't see where all this negativity is coming from.I haven't played the online demo, but the one they had on conventions months ago. I really liked what I played and it looks like another superb RE after Revelations and even more.Btw yes, 4 was also my favourite, gameplay wise. As for reviews, 3 are already out and it got 88%,90% and 9/10. So it's really good.
