I just recently bought the Sony Playstation Display for my dorm. So I'm all set for the Wii U.

lol I think pretty much everyone has a HDTV now. I bought the Wii as my first console but I had a HDTV before then. It's not full HD but it is a solid 32'' Samsung that has been my partner in gaming for 6 years now.

We got a 50'' LG in our living room, but just the other day I got an LED backlit 42'' for my room to replace the old Samsung. The picture looks downright beautiful and this one should last me through whatever next gen has to offer. Come at me bros.

This assumption that Wii owners dont have HD televisions based on something or you just pulling this out of your ass?

Will the display not try to sabotage the WiiU?

I'd be surprised if no one had an hdtv yet, unless they cannot afford it I guess.

I have an HD, got it about 2 years ago. For me, Nintendo made the right choice with Wii.

I'm not a Wii only user now but I had a hdtv when I first bought my Wii in 07.

I dont own one. Maybe ill get one before the Wii U comes out.

For most of this gen i have been a Wii owner only. When i finally decided to buy a PS3 about a year ago, i also upgraded my TV to a HDTV. Not only for HD gaming but also being able to watch movies in high quality bluray. I did get Wii component cables to get the best possible picture for my Wii too.
