Forums - Nintendo - According to Malstrom, there´s word going around that Reggie is looking to jump ship..

That would suck. He's like the only PR guy that's likable.

I was checking his blog

This is the part that most concerns me.

Well it's true he doesn't look as happy in interviews anymore. I hope he doesn't leave he's the only PR guy I liked. Plus it was kinda cool to have a fellow Haitian as the President of my favorite game company.

That's really funny because I was telling myself the exact same thing as I was watching the conference.

It seemed to me like his heart didn't believe his words anymore.

But it could be for a total different reason.

It did look like he was thinking about something else during the tv thing, I noticed that.

What I liked about Reggies composure is that he seems much more comfortable about the product, much more convinced, and he seems glad to present it to a more core and less "shit accepting" audience. All in all, it's good news.

Noticed the difference in his body language in these two:

1) http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/06/06/nintendo-president-on-wii-u-3ds-3rd-party-support-more-e3-2012

2) http://ca.ign.com/videos/2012/09/14/reggie-fils-aime-answers-burning-wii-u-launch-questions?utm_campaign=ign+main+twitter&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

In the 2nd one, he seems alot more down to earth and less trying to sell something. The improved body language is fantastic, I'm a believer.

I'll admit, Reggie does seem a bit off lately.

I noticed too.

I don't dislike Reggie, but Nintendo doesn't have any douchebag at the same level as say, Don Matrick.

That type of people are Pachter like hilarious and spread the word on everything, even if they make fun of themselves.

We haven't seen Reggie say:

"Our console doesn't fry in people's hands"
"We are the absolute market leaders"
"Sony and Microsoft played catch up by mimicking our motion control offers. Copycats"

The opportunity for trolling on nintendo part is immense and there's no crazy dude to carry it. I think such an iconic person would be great.

Francis, it would bring shame to the company. Their being discrete is what makes them so much the better man.
