TGS is the Japan equivalent of NA's E3, as is E3 to Europe's Gamescom

What happened last year? FFX HD announcement, I believe quite a bit of Vita info and new Vita announcements and so on. Basically what you'll expect from e3.

Anyone know details on The Legend of Heroes: Trails in Zero (like is it the second game in the new trilogy or a remake of the PSP game The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky)

Last TGS for Vita was kinda weak because there were few announcements - as most things were already known. Hot Shots Golf was the biggest surprise, but didn't set the world on fire in any way.

This year, since there's no first party game announced for next year (like last year, which had a lot), I expect a blowout... at least 3 games, and one major at that. It's hard to imagine what... since in japan the only real big Sony franchise has is gran turismo. So maybe Gran Turismo or a big budgeted new IP.

This is even more likely since the last 1st party game announced in japan was Soul Sacrifice right? That was 6 months ago, if I'm not wrong. There has to be more on the pipeline.

Let's hope that there's plenty of high-quality Vita stuff in the pipeline. For me, and many others, that hasn't yet been the case. Perhaps this could be the turning point...

...but I really doubt it.

Box! Open Me: Ordinary Box is their next game and it makes use of the PlayStation Vita’s cameras. You can actually download a demo of Box! Open Me: Ordinary Box from Japan’s PlayStation store today… but you need to grab the PlayStation Official Catalog to make it work.

That’s all we know about Box! Open Me: Ordinary Box. Sony will release the quizzical game as a PlayStation Network download this winter.

I say that Sony needs to make a few character announcements from popular RPG's. That will get the Japanese fired up about this game and help build up the much needed vocal fanbase.

Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X need to have representation in the game. Along with THE LEGEND OF DRAGOON'S DART AND KING ALBERT!
