Here's the thing. I spent 170$+Tax because I wanted to play Brawl. After my friends stopped playing online I didn't have much use for my Wii. So I spent more money and tried Metroid Prime games, Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess. Couldn't get into them. Twilight Princess was decent for a while but once I went dog mode for the second time, i just lost interest.
Anyway. I couldn't find anyone to take that stuff off my hands so I ended up trading that stuff in at gamestop and took a significant loss. I got about 3.5 weeks out of Brawl. In the case of Bayonetta, we're talking a single player game so I would likely get even less out of it.
Some people don't want to go through this. Do I agree with the way the Twitter uses in the OP are handling the situation? Hell no. But I fully understand why someone would be upset about a the sequal to a game they like not coming to a console they care for.

I completely understand that you can be upset and don't want to have to spend money for a game you'd like to have, or even a game you must have when the game itself ends up dissappointing.
Put it this way, you learned from your purchase, and will make sure Bayonetta is worth the console for the single-player experience. Maybe you like it enough that you'd want to replay it. It all depends on how valuable the game is. Also, the WiiU is shaping up to be Wii's daddy in the sense that it's looking to cover all grounds. I watched the conference yesterday and so if I were you I wouldn't be so worried. Lately I bought a PS3 just for Uncharted. Do I want anything else for PS3? Not particularly. Was I able to get that on Wii? No. So, well, I wanted the game enough that I spent 150$ for the experience. And I don't regret it one bit.
So everyone has their stories, and we learn from our mistakes. I hope you find value in the WiiU soon as they offer even more exclusives. Right now they have
The Wonderful 101
BO2 at 1080p 60fps
Dragon Quest X
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
The best version of Ninja Gaiden 3
Nintendoland (if you like Brawl, this is the Mini-game version of Smash)
and other great content. There should be no reason you have to suffer the Wii experience again. 3rd parties are back on board with Nintendo, and it's great news for any prospective buyer. Not sure if we can expect as much for the other offerings, there are so many unknowns and it all depends on tastes. Preferring j-games more personally, and a fan of AC and COD, I like what I'm offered and am convinced to buy it.
