You seriously discussing this?
It's not about the system, it's about the games
The system plays some role in the total cost, sure, but in the end it's all about the scope of the game
Let's compare this:
With this:
14 minutes of high condensed credits against a 3 minutes of highly spaced names. Every name on that list costs money.
It's not a fight of PS3 vs Wii here. It's a battle among games. Sony games will be more expensive than Nintendo, by definiton, because they focus on things more expensive.
You could make a Dreamcast game costing 70 million dollars if you want... and they actually did!

Oh come on... that is NOT njext-gen. Why are you pushing the Wii-U as a graphical powerhouse, when its clear that not even Nintendo is doing it. It simply wont be a next-gen system graphics wise.Stop making a fool of yourself on this forum, its often sad :/
101 looks good, but from a gameplay point of view, and IMO its one of the most intriguing games from the Wii-U IMO

Yeah, but that doesn't mean they'll always cost more. Nintendo has some pretty aged and experienced developers. And that cost money too. Versus just voice acting jobs.

Oh, cmon... aged developers, I never saw this argument before!
"Square Enix leads the Japanese game industry in employee compensation, according to a ranking chart posted today by Nensyu Labo, a site that tracks salaries across various industries.
With an average salary of 21,680,000 yen, Square Enix Holdings is easily ahead of the rest of the industry. Sony comes in second with 9,230,000 yen. Nintendo follows with 9,140,000 yen."

And voice acting costs a lot, as far as I know.

Nintendos developers are veterns of the industry. They've been in the game for a looong while ago. Back during the arcade days. Experience usually tends to increase the rate your paid.

I just gave you proof they are not paid more than the competition, what else you need?
You have miyamoto in the mind right? Yeah, the guy must receive a fortune, but he is one. Nintendo is full of new/young people. It's a company, they pay what companies do. I bet Naughty Dog's CEO is a gazillionaire too, if that helps.

Nevermind I clearly misread the article. Still, the CEO could be making a ton more than the Nintendo CEO. You would be surprised, Miyamoto doesn't make all that much. Plus did you know Nintendo employees cut their salaries whenever the 3ds wasn't doing well? That isn't factored in either.

Those numbers are average... does not matter how many devs are there. Nintendo is not made of devs from the 80's and 90's, that's the real point here!
