^ I am not sure. That guy whose tweet I post seems to be playing it this very minute in New york!

Even that guy from activision said "FullHD@60FPS" to me that means "1080P@60FPS" what else could he mean by FullHD?

I was thinking that if it was 1080p they would have said 1080p as thats a big buzzword... but HD could simply mean 720p. Guess we'll know more as time moves on. Really I don't care so long as it has all the features of the other systems plus wiimote control. And it does so I'm sold.

"Full HD" is the industry terminology to mean 1080p.

True. But so far I've yet to see it written as Full HD... just HD.

I'm just being skeptical as I would think that if it were improved over PS360 versions it would have been more explicit or made to be showcased better.

I can agree with this.

It kind of sounded like he was emphasizing HD by saying 'full'. He also said it would be on par with 'any other HD console'.

Probably meant it doesn't look like the Wii versions. Would be huge jump in graphical quality for Nintendo Wii gamers.

If the Wii U version doesn't sell 10 million in a month it is proof it is not a hardcore console.

Bingo.

Pressure's on, Nintendo. Time to prove who your audience is!

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yep, which is why I think it's just 720p like the others (or slightly sub-HD actually). That's still very good for Nintendo, to have a CoD on par with the others at launch.

Sub-HD?  Why would he say full hd though... I still think it's at 1080p.  Why waste the Wii-U capabilities?

There's just something about the way he says it...I said sub-HD because that's how it is on PS3/360 and he said 'on par'.

I know, but why would he say HD?  Do they advertise the 360 and PS3 versions as HD too?  I guess we'll have to wait until the game is out and see.  I think that'll be my first WIi-U game.  Aside from Mario Bros.

I don't think the other Call Of Duty games ever ran in true full 1080p HD, but just upscaled. If Wii U can pull off true 1080p as they seem to be saying, then thats pretty huge since we know 60 FPS will be there for sure. That could really showcase the power of WiiU.

But even if it doesn't do 1080p but just 720p, it's still amazing the console can do that on both the TV and the Gamepad. The console does the processing for both, so it almost requires twice the amount. I don't know if the gamepad can do 1080p though or not.

Either way, this version of Black Ops 2 is for sure the most definitive version of the game. Just the amount of controller support is insane enough to warrant a buy.

Other consoles don't even do 720P for cod.  And on the Xbox at least it isn't upscaled either.  There's black boxes on the right and left side of the screen when I played black ops 1 with the resolution set to 1080i. So we'll see. The controller doesn't do HD I believe.

Soo...would it be possible to play this using just the Pro controller? The playpad (or whatever it's called) doesn't appeal to me.

Also, how will Wii U graphics compare to PS360?

Yes you can play with Pro controller, gamepad and Wiimote/Nunchuck pointer controls. Pretty much anything you can imagine is suppported.

As for graphics, it will at the very least be on par with the PS360. But the guy from Activision seems to have said that the game will be in full HD, which means 1080p at 60 FPS. This may or may not be true since the PS360 versions don't do true 1080p, but the Wii U version will at least be as good graphically as the PS360 versions. Plus two people can play on the same console at the same time, one on the gamepad screen and one on the TV screen, which is amazing because there is no more need for split screen.
