I doubt it has an internal HDD.   I'm pretty certain the 8 GB and 32 GB on the two models are flash rather than a HDD.   Especially given that they no longer manufacture 8 and 32 GB hard drives in bulk anymore.

No, they won't.   Law of diminishing returns hits pretty heavily after 2 GB on a home console.

Yeah, its so rediculous reading some of these RAM expectations. I've benched current top games on PC and even with Windows 7 running along with browsers, anti virus stuff and many other processes, I've never seen RAM usage go over 6 gigs. And that is with 3 monitors. Games on consoles won't need more than 2 GB of ram next gen.

Regarding Nintendo, I hope the GPU has some dedicated RAM as well. Maybe 500 MB on the GPU and 1 GB for system. If so, WiiU is in great shape.

Good decent specs for the price. But 1Gb ram just for OS is alot i think, i wonder if stuff like cross game chat will be included. The fact that controller has a mic is pretty good, no need for a headset :) 25 Gb on the disc should be plenty for games for now. Although, 8 and 32 gb on the system is not alot, i'm sure SD cards will work on it

Hope I'm not asking for too much but could you go into a little more detail as to what you mean by this?

More so than just that, check the RAM usage of the games executable file in Task Manager.   Most games even on high details and high resolutions don't use more than 1.5 GB.
