Many people who received the game early would upload footage to youtube. After a while the video would be deleted from a "third party" copywrite claim. I heard something about namco only allowing still images to be uploaded because they don't want to spoil some things. This doesn't make much sense as there isn't much to spoil. What surprizes me is that they are able to do this. I was pretty sure that when it came to video games all videos belonged to the uploader. I don't remember this happening with any other game. At least I got to see most of the endings before they were removed.

spoilers? more like they dont want people to see the flaw and that would hurt their sales...
i thought the video actually build excitement to the people who watch it...

Youtube will usually pull anything based on any claim, legitimate or not. They figure it's better to immediately pull and then let people argue rather than leave a potentially bad thing up and get in trouble themselves for it. Better safe than sorry is their motto (even if it does result in legit videos being taken down).

From your TV, just like if you were recording anything else.

I remember Toei animation taking down all those DBZ parodies despite them falling under "fair use".

What I don't understand then is how they can prevent you from uploading footage of things like practice mode when they let a place like Ign do it the day before.

I don't see a problem with this really its not a big deal.
