So nothing over my current 4S really besides 0.5" taller screen and better chipset that most likely wont be taken full advantage of for quite a while?

You aren't really supposed to update yearly.
Still two times faster is no small cake. There are... certain companies out there who can't do it even every five years

What were you expecting. Most of the people exited just love the tech or are upgrading from older phones. Plenty exiting to see here.
