I'm just wondering how many of us here have 3D TV's or monitors.  Do you have one?  If so, how often do you use the 3D effect?  For mostly movies? Games?  What games to you play in 3D.

Also, what kind - thinking mostly Passive and Active.  Although, if anyone has glasses free, I'll be over with snacks!

I've had a 3D TV for a couple of years now but as I didn't buy it for it's 3D-ness I don't really use the 3D much, just not a big fan.

I do have a 3DS though and I do use the 3D on that.

I just got the PlayStation 3DTV (I was in the US, where it was just $199 in Best Buy, so I picked it up while there). I was looking for a new monitor, and 24" Full HD (with 3D) along with a game seemed pretty damn good. I've only played a small bit of Uncharted 3 in 3D on it so far, I'm more interested in watching some sports in 3d on it soon.

Yea! I'm glad somebody is using theirs. 

My buddy just got one and we were playing some Halo: Anniversary in 3D. Would love to go through the game in 3D.

What are your favorite games to play in 3D?  And is the reason you play more on PC is because of better graphics?

No I don't have a 3D TV. And I don't particularly want one. Though I wouldn't avoid buying a 3D TV, but as they are generally more expensive than the same spec'd TV without 3D it's unlikely I'll fork out the extra dough for the 3D feature.

Yeah have one since 2010, active glasses. Its awesome with some PS3 exclusives like Killzone 3 and GT5, makes you really feel like you're in the game.

I have one but can't be arsed to use it, its very gimmicky and I'd rather just have better quality picture than 3D effect.

no, just flat 2d as there was no 3d when i bought my lcd. tried it at several friends and didn't really impress me. if i would buy a new lcd it would have 3d for sure but still i doubt i would use it.

I have an active 3D monitor which is compatible with the PS3 (only few of them are). Unfortunately most games (PC and PS3) I tried in 3D have a lot of problems with incorrect shadows/reflections and so on, so I mostly use it for movies and games like Tumble and Hot Shots Golf 5 (~ overall twice a week on average) , although the aliasing in these is hurting the effect quite a bit aswell imo. I would appreciate aa in 3D mode for next gen games a lot.

I have a passive 3D monitor/TV from LG. I got it mostly because I was looking for a TV of that size (22-25") and the price was the same as the others.

I've only used the 3D to watch some demos that I got from the web. On some of them I could see the effect and in others I couldn't.
