Chark said: Not bad, but you have to realize that many of those point have very noticeable trade offs that could be detrimental to the rest of the game. Such as co-op campaign. Nothing like a second person in a single player game to destroy all sense of immersion. Making the game more like Assassins Creed would divert all their time and power towards that and severely undermine the experience. I know people complain about linear games, but linearity provides a scope and polish the other games can only dream of. A surviving enemy can seem just as cliche and disappointing as one you kill. |
We are talking next generation though. Hopefully we can finally expand to these new heights without fear of losing fidelity.
The Coop I know is probably sort of far fetched but how much fun we could have with another player. The way the last 3 game's story were it almost seemed meant for a second player. They could even restrict it to online only Coop. Like I said tho, this isn't necessary, just a cool possibility.
-Uncharted is starting to feel too linear (Too me) at least when It comes to the gameplay. I just would like the expansive multi route nature of the MP to migrate to the singleplayer.
-At this point, letting one enemy live is not cliche because the bad guys ALWAYS lose in the Uncharted series so far. They just need to be a better judge on how to rap up a story which doesn't have to mean "all baddies get demolished!".
