nobody was pro active when 3ds was selling better than psv and yet deemed as a failure.

if sony takes care of it's handeld, so consumers will.

as of now, psv is closer to be another dreamcast than a next psp.

I think it will be better than PSP. People just don't realize what this device does. If you ever had a PSP take that, give it PS3 graphics, toss in Android, and have it do what a Wii U does. That's what a Vita is. The PS4 is going to be built with Vita in mind and that combination is going to make the device really important next gen.

In a few months when PS Mobile releases the Vita will become way more than what it already is, which I find awesome. It is just amazing how this thing is evolving in such a short period of time.

I can't say for sure, but I think we've gotten to a point where consumer backlash is the norm for new gaming products. Thanks to the internet and the vastly larger gaming industry consumer warfare is at an all time high. It might not seem like a big deal but people are very influenced by others opinions and that is what the internet is. It doesn't help that negative information is weighted higher than positive information. The Wii U is already getting the hate, the 3DS got it, and the Vita got it. I think the PS4 and the Xbox 3 are going to get it too and it is going to be just as stupid if not more because if everything think everything is a terrible product than what the hell are we gamers suppose to do? You compete in the games not in real life.

never had a psp, it is halfway there to have ps3 graphics (which is not bad at all), doesn't run android and never will, and it doesn't do what wii u does unless it is the official controller for ps4.

Sony tries to replicate it but since it is not a default setting like what you get with the wii u out of the box, the best scenario you can imagine is connectivity ala gba-gamecube, psp-ps2.

Good night everyone, it is pretty late in europe now =)

Well good night.

Yes, I am stretching it a bit but let me explain. It's more than halfway to PS3 graphics, they are quite similar and for being a new system surpass early PS3 games. It won't have Android true, but it was the best comparison to PS Mobile which I see as almost identical. And it can do what the Wii U does with the PS3, as for dedication sure but if Wii U does well it will create multiplatform capabilities and if the Wii U doesn't do well...Vita is still a portable game console, lol. Vita could end up being the PS4 controller or the DualShock 4 could be a touchscreen controller like the Wii U making the Vita a controller as well without it being required because the DualShock 4 will come in box.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Known PS Vita Bundles.
- Black PS Vita + 4GB Memory Card + Madden 13 = $249.99 Available Now
- Black PS Vita + 4GB Memory Card + LittleBigPlanet PS Vita = $249.99 September 25
- White PS Vita + 4GB Memory Card + Assassins Creed III: Liberation = $249.99 October 30
- Black PS Vita + 4GB Memory Card + PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale = $249.99 November 20
- Black Custom Back Panel PS Vita + 4GB Memory Card + Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified = November ??
I think that I'm missing atleast 1 more. But Imagine those good prices bundled with even more or at a lower price? I have my PS Vita and will be clearing ALOT of friends off my PSN and adding people for Ragnarok, PSASBR, CoD and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Hope when I do that I can find the PS Vita community on this site. The Vita has the friendliest and coolest community on VGChartz.

Damn why did the AC3L bundle have to come with the White Vita only T.T

If I were to get a bundle now, I guess I would get the @bolded/underlined/italic

Not a fan of CoD and Madden, PSABR I could just buy the PS3 version and get the Vita version for free digital on the go.

I guess its with white cause it fits ac better then the others. But yeah you might as well grab the lbp one. I just pre ordered tbe game. Beta was amazingly good. I think it will possibly top lbp2. I'm also not a cod and madden fan but im a get cod cause i thought rbs wasn't bad but decent (was like the only person not using the damn shotgun, i used hunter and was owning em) and im sure it will be decent til killzone. The PSASBR I agree, tho i might buy the physical game because appearently P4G and S&ASRT are nov 20 also so i might just get the vita version to save money, if when the beta releases and my bro tries it and doesnt care to play against me. Cause the ps3 version will be to battle against him

I really don't like this thread. If you want to be positive about the Vita, then fine. Be positive; Start a discussion about a topic which is positive for the Vita. Don't just make a positive thread for the sake of being positive. It makes it look like you really have to put forth an effort to find positivity about the system.

You're trying to make a positive thread about the Vita, yet have no specific topic or purpose. The only purpose of this thread is to be positive. This implies that although you are searching for positivity, you cannot find any. Therefore, you inadvertently reinforce the belief that there is nothing good about the Vita.

I do agree though. It is annoying (and I don't really even care for the system). I agree with your intent, but I don't like this method.

But don't mind me. This thread seems to be going along pretty well.

I think it's fine, especially its library and upcoming games. The only problem is the price. If you drop it to $199 and and introduce a free 1-2GB card purely for saving and small titles, and the card is free wtih a vita purchase, it will sell. Until then, it could get the best damn game ever made, it still won't sell that well.

My two cents.

Badgenome jests, but he is right. Support must come Sony. Sony alone can change vita's course. It's not a matter of positive thinking, it's a matter of excitement for games.

I for one, think Sony is doing a good job (outside outsourcing COD) in the west. A fine job indeed. Some very big franchises, and some very drastic strategies - like the bundles or cross buy, but they did it because they had to. I like that a lot! Shows care! It may or may not have the same effect as 3DS Price cut, but it was done in the same mentality.

I don't support Sony japan, and obviously will not enter any operation of positive thinking for it. Support there is beyond terrible and there's no strategies (drastic or not) to change it. The only hope is TGS, which must be megatonic (really only hope, since Vita apparently turned Buddhist and does not believe in Heaven anymore)

You see, announce some games people really becomes excited for (on a regular basis) and raise you sales a bit, and you'll see how fast the internet loves you. Start campaigns to cheer it up... and you be doing that forever.

As a owner of a PSP (Actually I bought 2 to play mh with my brother) I was looking forward to the vita, but right now, IMO, there is not a single game that would make me buy it. Persona 4 looks too good, sound shapes looks nice but thats about it. I waiting for more games to come.

I'm thinking about getting a Vita, especially one of those $250 bundles, but... I already have a 3DS and am seriously considering a Wii U. And quite frankly, I'm not sure if anyone besides Sony will be supporting it in a few years. A lack of support was why I never got a Wii until very recently after all.

Waiting for more than Gravity Rush to pull me into buying one.

I might get a Vita eventually, but right now there's too much in its cost and not enough reason to justify getting one.

The Japanese support will come for the Vita, I'm pretty sure. The reason I say that is because quite a few games are still being released/have recently been released for the PSP. What that tells me is that those games have been in development for awhile and had to be cleared out of the way first. A LOT of those same developers were listed last year as confirmed for Vita projects. I think it might still be several months away, but I believe we're going to see a surge in Japanese Vita titles announced.

I'm honestly not worried about support for the Vita. Games aren't things that can be produced on demand, especially not for a new piece of hardware. The Japanese will make games for the Vita, just like they did for the PSP. The sky is nowhere near falling simply because many gamers can only think in terms of what is immediately visible in front of them.

Also, if the picture on Amazon is really the CoD custom design, then bloody hell, that thing is gorgeous. I almost want to get it and I have zero interest in CoD.
