You're right, it was reduced to end today. 

The ban was overly harsh, yes. That was my error, and it was rectified after further discussion so no harm done.

On their own, I agree. If an otherwise solid poster slips up and says these things we tend to either let it go or warn them.

If a known anti-Sony troll wanders into a thread about Driveclub being delayed and makes the one-word post 'Delaystation' to try and piss people off, thats often different.

It's absolutely not doing well because people get moderated, warned and banned for no reason at all. This is a discussion forum so discussion should be allowed and not be forbidden.

I've talked to you all about inconsistency in the past.  Here is an axample

Goatseye should have banned for calling someone pathetic, which he did get banned .

What makes no sense is the comment he quoted was also calling someon pathetic, or implying, makes no difference.  BananaKing obviously was impling or calling someone pathetic and did not get banned for it, yet Goatseye got banned for the exact same reason.

You either ban both or neither but you dont cherry pick them

what do you mean derail this thread? this is a forum, and forums are created for discussion. what ever the author puts in his OP means its open for discussion. when people discuss whats the best looking racing game ever, its not derailing the authors thread since he himself brought the point up. and stop with playing the victim card already, its getting pathetic.
