As for your question, well, that depends on the wording of the post. If you do have a specific post in mind (which I'm guessing you do), go ahead and report it. Report if there's any doubt, because if it doesn't break the forum rules we're not going to moderate anyway. This isn't really the place to bring up individual posts. We discourage posting those in the forums at all.

That's too funny.  I am inactive on the site for a day and a half and you're acting like it was a month and a half.

Anyway, I think that the new mod team has done a great job except for myself.  I am a biased and ill- tempered jerk that's in way over his head. 

could be a bit tougher against Apple trolling but for the most of the time it's fine..

As in removed from your history?  Never.

As in for escalating punishments.  6 Months from the last infraction is the suggested guideline.  Which seems a bit too long for me... i'd go more 4 months personally.

As for me... I think things are going ok.

Sometimes i've saved mod reports in my browser and let someone else fill the request just to see how it's handled because I'm pretty relaxed by nature.

Heck, I'm probably up there on the all time "Person didn't get reported for insulting me because i never reported them." list.

So it's going to take me a while more to get a really solid handle on how far "up" i have to judge my sensitivity vs things that should be viewed as just silly jokes.

Well here's my opinion on 2 new mods:

I think Amp is too old and Radish is too young. I love Radish but everyone in the mafia games know him as the 'goof'. Mod team was trolling us with that promotion. Seriously, if I ever get moderated by him my brain might just pop.

Amp has a history of being irrational and falsly accusing people of 'pretending' to be something. Like Seece pretending to be gay, or me pretending to be a transexual. His emotions and cockiness get the better of him sometimes so I hope he keeps that out of his modding.



That aside, I think the team is good, but I also think it will be seeing some cuts in the near future. Some of the recent bans were just extreme and cringe worthy. Veteran mods and Mod manager will take note of that.


Personal opinions?
-I think the mod team lets posters who discuss the topic of religion and belief get away with murder. There's a fine line between opinion and straight insulting that mods need to recognize.
-All spammers including Pig man, Pezus and Spurge need to be cleansed from this website. Give me a mod badge for 5 minutes and I'll see to that personally.
-Makingmusic... give him his job back.

Nobody is too young or old for a job as a moderator. It's about maturity and ability to deal with problems. Sure, radish is kind of crappy at mafia, but hey, we can't have two mods capable of playing a perfect game of mafia, now can we, Tyrion?

I feel like amp has calmed down a lot. There used to be some bitterness between us for some reason, but I feel like that's gone now.

I wouldn't want to see MBP, Pezus or Spurge leave the site. They're all active users. They help keep the community alive and energetic. We just need to crack down a little bit on spam from everyone.

And makingmusic doesn't want his job back, unfortunately. Believe me, I've tried.
