spurgeonryan said: Quick question. Are we allowed to go into threads, as users and not mods, and tell the Op that the thread is a pile of trash and bait the OP? Is that allowable? Or should we just complain to the mods about these types of things? Seems like a simple question, but I have a "thread" of doubt so I thought I would ask. Kantor and Axumblade are our best veterans.Fair and honest and they know when to not be too strict or too mushy. Sega and Twesterm and barozi probably are as well, but you never see them. Barozi just because he is visiting turkey or his computer is broken or something. Tads12 and Kaz have been the most level headed new mods so far. Some of the others seem either too hot headed when questioned, too strict, or just that they discovered that they do not want to be mods but do not want to take it back now for various reasons. Some of these are probably just them learning the ropes and they are not any of the things that I mentioned. My two cents. I think they all are doing great! I have frequented other sites and this certainly is the best mod team I have seen. So there you go. @ Man bear That may have been 200 words. But definitely not 2,000. |
It's worth mentioning that twesterm has been a mod far longer than I have, so he's the real veteran. But thank you.
As for your question, well, that depends on the wording of the post. If you do have a specific post in mind (which I'm guessing you do), go ahead and report it. Report if there's any doubt, because if it doesn't break the forum rules we're not going to moderate anyway. This isn't really the place to bring up individual posts. We discourage posting those in the forums at all.
