can't believe people complain about nextgen consoles. This looks amazing, if it gets realer than this might as well just buy u a gun and shot random dudes. but seriously though i think people complain because only a few developers can harness and achieve realism in these consoles while 80 percent of games out there still looks like last gen

I've only recently beat Metal Gear 1 and 2. Only 6 more games to go before I can play this one!

You only need to play 2 more. Snake Eater and Peace Walker. And if you want, you can play Metal Gear Solid 4, but it shouldn't be necessary.

I highly disagree. skipping that chapter is the worst thing he can do.
@TheKoreanGuy
trust me dude, you can quote me on it you going to like 4. it also fills in a lot of blanks in the series.

Ground Zero takes place after Peace Walker, which takes place before Metal Gear or concurrently to it. Anything after Metal Gear won't be necessary for it.

I ALWAYS go in release order, as it makes the most sense to me. If I played Snake Eater before anything else, I think I would get pretty lost, would I not? Maybe there will be references in this game that I won't get unless I played the other MGS's. But after I've beat everything once, I guess going chronologically wouldn't be bad. It's okay though, I think I have plenty of time before this game comes out. :D
