Forums - Gaming - Worst framerate in a current gen game you've played?

Probably House Of the Dead : Overkill. Anytime something explodes, it looks like I just got done sucking nitrous oxide out of a balloon.

You should try Last Story's final boss.

The framerate takes off his hat, bows, and goes for vacation.

Hehe.  All of the bad things that I've been hearing about that game makes me think that I should take a pass.

Kung Fu Panda PS3 has THE WORST framerate I have ever seen EVER.

You see reviews sometimes say about a game that "it's like watching a slideshow", but this is the only game where this is actually true.

I only ever played Half Life 2 on 360, so I checked out digital foundry's framerate comparison to see how the PS3 fared... oh, the horror...

I can usually pick which game is going to be added to the OP and I just KNEW Fatal Frame was going to be up there. You let me down, curl-6.

Which Fatal Frame game?

I don't recall adding ANY game to the OP.

The only Fatal Frame game I've played in the Wii remake of #2, and the framerate in that wasn't bad.

It's a good game, even if it does have an inconsistent framerate.

As sad as it is, because both games are my two favourite games of this generation and amongst my favourite games of all time, both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls had terrible framerate on certain areas.

Trying to walk in the swamp on Valley of Defilement 5-2, while being chased by 3 of those giant goblins and having the framerate almost at single digits is not a fun experience, especially when you're holding millions of souls. And if someone invaded your game, then you were mostly screwed. Teleporting Firestorms are not a fun way to die .

Dark Souls also had it's share of very low and inconsistant framerate areas, especially the lava area before Lost Izalith, Blighttown swamp and the Tomb of Giants.

For all the bajillion reasons you could die in those two games, framerate problems were the most annoying ones .

Bayonetta on PS3 has nearly unplayable fps for me

You know how you can add a game to an OP?  Many threads have a picture of a game related to the topic but it's normally something kinda comical.  For example, if I made a thread about the Playstation Vita, I'd have the game "Doom" in the OP.  I figured Fatal Frame would be the perfect game for a thread about "Frames".

Meh.  I'm overthinking.
