So, new games cannot be added? How can you add the older games then? How can you add a system also? Link?

Apparently you can't. I heard from one of the admins of the site that the entire game database will be deleted soon and we are expected to go to yet another site for a new games database. Well fuck that.

Pretty sad really, how badly they've bastardised Vgchartz, all for the sake of Gamewise - a website which serves no real unique purpose and will never even reach the declining level of support this website has now.

I would also like to fuck that.  It's frustrating beyond belief.  Over the years, I went back and added every single game I own and tried to keep it current.   I took great pride in my collection.  Even if they give us the ability back now (and they won't), I've purchased so many games on so many platforms that I'll always feel like I'm missing something.  It sucks.

Sigh, my collection isn't so big, but I like it and I liked to be able to add at least the best game I buy to it and I feared the worst for VGC game collection system, but I didn't dare to ask... Now it looks like my fears were justified...

When somebody makes the obligatory "What games did you buy this year?" thread, It's going to be tough to include everything.

Did you read two posts before you? I quoted the method of adding titles which are already in the database.
