Both retail and the console manufacturers take their cut, then there are boxing and shipping costs. I don't think they can do a 10 dollar retail release or whatever

It won't sell buttloads but, in the event that it does, I expect to see a rush of cheap copies pouring out just like what happened with party games on Wii.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"d pay twice that,for such a master collection. If you combined atari from the 70's,nintendo from the 80's and playstation from the 90's,you'd have activision. They are the genius game developer's of the modern era. Everything,they touch turns into a golden classic.
