Forums - Gaming - How do left-hand-traffic drivers feel when playing right-hand traffic games?

Hey my friends from the UK, Australia, Japan, Honkkong etc.

Lets say you have a car in reallife how does it feel to switch to the "wrong" side of the road when playing games like GTA  and beeing chased by cops etc?

Do you guys keep crashing all the time?

Did you just crash the first time you played games with right-hand-traffic?

OR

lets say you played racing games way before you had a car  and you learned to drive on the right side of the road, was it a problem to learn driving on the left side in reallife?

Thank you

Well I obviously learnt how to drive playing on the right in GTA, but I never had a problem when I learnt to drive on the left (UK)

The more interesting thing will come when I have to virtually drive in Sleeping Dogs!

Probably like I feel playing Sleeping Dogs. But I crash all the time in GTA and Saints Row, too. If you don't crash all the time, you're doing it wrong.

Hey, you could be godly good... but otherwise you are not pushing it too much! And Burnout is definitely the game for crashing, if you aren't crashing, it means that you took your finger of the accelerator, which is just plain wrong

Well, it's easy to earn boost in Burnout games.

So true.

Yes, when I visited London after playing GTA4, I crashed into many cars, and ran over countless pedestrians and street lights. It was horrid. The pope had to come and teach me how to drive correctly.

Anyway, I haven't been outside America, so haven't ever tried driving on the left. But considering how distracted I get when I'm driving, it probably wouldn't end well.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
