Why would it?

Market share is a pretty meaningless statistic in this instance, apple could show a 20% increase in sales and profits and still see market share fall... They aren't mass market.

they are at mass market in some countries, just look at usa as example (or at least they don't have a smaller market than other smartphones). i also don't think apple has a big problem if they have 15 or 40 percent marketshare but as more androids are in households as more it makes sense for developers to bring all their apps they have on iphone also to android. that could at least mean that some who had a close decision between something like galaxy s or iphone and decided for iphone because of better apps in the past could decide for android now if there wonÄt be that difference anymore.

and to think microsoft had to bail them out just 15 or so years ago!

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Apple TV ? i like that, ultra HD please!

Apple doesnt need to be 1st to have this amazing results, we all know Windows dominates Pcs and Android Smartphones, yet Apple is a beast.

It's bigger than that:

Still has some $200 billion to go to reach inflation-adjusted most valuable company ever. Could happen in the next year.

WOW. Didn't know Microsoft hit $618 billion during the first tech bubble. Anyone major shareholder who sold at that peak must be diving in money like Scrooge Mcduck. Wonder what Apple's high going to be.

That's the big difference between then and now: Apple isn't riding a bubble. If anything, Apple is still a little undervalued.

Well that depends if they can sustain it in the long term. The stock is outside the reach of amateur investors. Not sure what the minimum buy is if someone wants to buy it. I am somewhat skeptical of the stock performance for people who are buying it now. It might still hit $1,000 but the best ones were the ones who bought when others were selling in 08.

Despite my skepticism the facts are that Apple brings more revenue from just their phones than Microsoft now does with everything they do.http://www.bgr.com/2012/08/20/iphone-q1-2012-profit-microsoft/

so, now it's the most valuable public stock. That's pretty cool.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
