For those calling for a thread title change, it is the title of the article from Zelda Informer.
It is also, according to every quote I have seen, the word used by Pachter himself.

While few "in the know" gamers seem to like this guy or think he knows what he is talking about, does anyone have a scorecard on his actual stock predictions -- the stuff for which he gets paid.

To be honest, I think he just likes getting pub and knows that when he says something "over the top" he will get pub. But it also says a lot about the state of video gaming that this type of person is thought of as an objective analyst when his salary is being paid for by undisclosed companies in the industry.

Honestly it doesn't matter if he is referring to Fanboys, he seems to have it out for Nintendo and the fanbase.  Given I could a ratass what he actually thinks about the big three, as he as about as credible as any PR from a firm in my books.

Depends on how you do it. The fanboy rule has since been discarded, but its not an automatic action like other no-no words that start with "fa."

He did tone it down compared to a few of us that state basically the same thing about Apple fanatics.

Why you got to bring shit to everything. I just don't understand the hate towards apple. They build solid products with excellent UI. Same with Nintendo as they innovate on the software front by bringing new things to gameplay in already exiting franchises. Apple wasn't always the go to brand for most people and still isn't. They have come a long way from 3 weeks away from bankruptcy in mid 90's to the most valuable company in the world. It is just so popular to hate on well popular stuff. See so many negative threads about call of duty. 

I'm sure Jack Thompson would love to get this case! (If he is still a lawyer)
