Forums - Nintendo - Ubisoft is already thinking about ZombiU 2

While Ubisoft is putting the finishing touches on ZombiU for the Wii U, the company already has ideas for a possible sequel. ZombiU producer Guillaume Brunier says that for the sequel, they’d like to offer more multiplayer modes. ZombiU will only ship with one multiplayer mode — a “Capture The Flag” type mode where one player has to capture an object, while the other player controls all the zombies and tries to stop player 1.

In the latest issue of EDGE magazine, Brunier says that they would have loved to have more multiplayer modes in ZombiU, including a 2-against-1 mode, but, as Brunier puts it, “We’ll have to put that on the feature list for ZombiU 2″. Instead of waiting for a sequel to get more multiplayer modes, an idea would be to release some DLC with additional content and modes. Are you listening, Ubisoft?

Gah only one multiplayer mode. My excitement keeps waning as I feel like this is a Ubisoft Cash in more and more.

Me too? It's not even out yet! Silly ubisoft

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I'll be all over a sequel tbh, I'd quite like to see the second game being set in Paris so that we can get some revenge killing the French lol. Too many Brits getting done over in Assassin's Creed 3 and ZombiU for my liking!!!

i hope the lust for money won't degrade the quality of game

I was going to mention the DLC idea but the article covered it.

An odd move, to say the least, talking about features they'll add to the sequel before they've even released the first game.

I hope this game is good. When I get my Wii U I want some great title to get my teeth into. If they're planning a sequel it should be a sign that it should be a good title.

Wait, Ubisoft, see how this one actually does.

Kinda sad about the one mode DLC obviously.

Feels overly presumptive.... I mean.... what if it underperforms.
