What Raidou are you talking about? I haven't played Raidou 1 so I'm not sure what you're referencing.

What Raidou are you talking about? I haven't played Raidou 1 so I'm not sure what you're referencing.

Umm...I'm confused. Looking up this character she's not a Raidou. She's not even a Kuzunoha. She only works for the Kuzunoha detective agency and is a devil summoner but that's it. In fact the only Raidou Kuzunohas that we know of are Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV (the Raidou in the Raidou games) and Gouto (who used to be a Raidou but made a mistake and became a cat as a punishment). Then there's Raido but he's an alternate universe version.

But what were you talking about earlier when making this comment? "I would rather they use the Riadou from the end of the first on the PS2." - What Raidou from the end of the first one?

She said she was the current Raidou Kuzunoha in the game if I remember correctly. All of the Devil Summoners are Kuzunoha's. Well, the good ones anyway.

The original was on the Saturn and it played pretty much like old SMT games where you had a character with no specific face and no specific name who happened to become a DS. Then Soul Hackers came was the next one where you play as this chick with a split personality or someting ike that.

Reading her entry in the SMT wiki I see no reference to her being a Raidou and/or a Kuzunoha, just that she works for the Kuzunoha Detective Agency. And considering that the devil summoners in Soul Hackers aren't Kuzunohas (save Kyouji), it doesn't seem like it matters that a devil summoner is a Kuzunoha or not.

And for future reference you should assume that if someone's talking about Raidou like Mirson, they're talking about Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV since he's the only prominent Raidou.

Can you read? I said she said it in the game. Though, I may need to double check that, but I'm sure she said was the current Raido.

Yes I can read. No need to make snide comments. And I said if she really was a Raidou, the wiki would make a reference to that because it's kind of hard to overlook something like that.

The wiki doesn't even say she has a Nekomota. Its just quoting the text lore from the game word for word.

Though, I guess it may not have. I'm going to have to go back and check. I was sure she said she was the current Kuzunoha in one of your visits.

It wasn't considered a big deal back then. At that time, Devil Summoner was just a spin off like Devil Children and Last Bible. The fact that she was a devil summoner was the nod to Saturn game. The name Kuzunoha wasn't important.

That Wiki doesn't say much about her or the plot SMT if and her role in Persona 1. It just mentions them.

Raidou Kuzunoha is not his name. You make his name a the beginnig. Raidou Kuzunoha is a title that is awarded to Devil Summoners. You should know that if you played Kind Abaddon.

Raidou Kuzunoha is not his name. You make his name a the beginnig. Raidou Kazunoha is a title. That is why is the XIV.

Yes...I know. That's why I said if she was a Raidou, she'd be called Raidou Kuzunoha with whatever # Raidou she is like Raidou the XIV and not just by her name. The only exception seems to be Kyouji but he might be the first or something because Raidou and Geirin both are numbered.

Even though it's a title people still mention Raidou the XIV as just "Raidou".

Its not really an exeption with Kyouji. The lore just wasn't that detailed in the game series back then. You are applying rules and plot backwards in time. As I said, it was still just a side story at the point. It wasn't that well thought out like the original Revelations: Persona. It would be like asking who were the Social Links in persona 1 and 2.

If she wasn't a Kuzunoha, then it may have been that she was in line to become one. I remember her mentioning it in the game though. It would make no sense for it to be the Kuzunoha detecitve agency if there was no Kuzunoha there.

Reading Kyouji's entry it seems that he owns the agency. Also if she's just in line then that makes sense cause like what I said with Nagi she didn't start out as a Kuzunoha but is a devil summoner and will eventually become Geirin the 18th.

I see. That must have been it.

Also, lets not forget the fact that wiki's are made by American fans who have likely never played the older Japan only games in depth. They are likely copying popoular info to fill the Wiki.

That could be it but we have to assume the wiki's wrong. The wiki has a pretty detailed entry on Marie from P4G and that game's only in Japan so far. I think there's at least one person who knows Japanese on that site.


I'm not saying its wrong. I'm just saying its incomplete, like with the Nekomota.

P4G has a huge following already even in the U.S. Thats not the same scenario.

We are talking about "old, old" games that aren't as easy to come by and aren't as popular. You can go on gamefaqs in the message section and they will probably tell you everything about P4G from the new Personas to new characters. Go try that on the boards on the old SMT games from before the PS2 era. The only ones you will see active are the Personas and it will mostly just people arguing about the differences between the old ones and the PSP ones.
