P4G has a huge following already even in the U.S. Thats not the same scenario.

We are talking about "old, old" games that aren't as easy to come by and aren't as popular. You can go on gamefaqs in the message section and they will probably tell you everything about P4G from the new Personas to new characters. Go try that on the boards on the old SMT games from before the PS2 era. The only ones you will see active are the Personas and it will mostly just people arguing about the differences between the old ones and the PSP ones.

Yeah but even the other older games like SMT1, 2, Soul Hackers, etc. still have pretty detailed entries. I have a feeling you're just remembering incorrectly.

That is possible but it still wouldn't make sense for it to be the Kuzunoha detective agency if neither of them was a Kuzunoha.

SMT 1 and 2 have fan translations. Soul Hackers had one in the works. Though, I'm not really sure if you can called that detailed.

Well like I said Kyouji owns it and he's a Kuzunoha.

Also Innocent Sin got released in the US (both PS1 and PSP versions) and Eternal Punishment got a fan translation. I'd say if there was any info regarding her becoming a Kuzunoha, it would've popped up.

There is hardly any info at all. It doesn't even say that she is the one who spreads the rumors for you and that is the most critical plot element in the game.

You're right. But I also looked around some more and found an entry about her in Wikipedia that does mention the rumor thing:

No mention of Nekomata but even if we put the SMT Wiki entry and Wikipedia entry together there's still nothing about her becoming a Kuzunoha...

It wasn't important in the game. It was just something she mentions in one of your conversations with her. But, oh well.
